Eze-elect of Amaise Nsirimo Encourages Youths to Embrace Personal Devt. for Unlocking Latent Potentials

Youths have been urged to make self-development a priority in their growth trajectory in order to unlock their hidden potentials for survival in the emerging global economy.

The Eze-elect of Nsirimo Amaise Autonomous Community, Dr Charles Amanze gave the advice at a youth capacity building seminar organised by the Eze Amadioha Nsirimo Foundation at the palace of the royal father.

He stated that in a “rapidly changing world, personal development is no longer a luxury, but a necessity hence “unlocking our full potentials” would bring about “a life of purpose and fulfillment.”

Amanze explained that the training with the theme. ‘Unlocking Human Potential: Strategies for Personal Growth and Self-improvement’ was in line with the Alex Otti administration’s agenda of making Abia youths agents of development.

He charged youths to consume and absorb the available knowledge at the one-day seminar as it would help them to be successful in life and be able to make positive contributions to society.

The royal father explained that he organized the seminar through his Foundation as part of his contribution to human capital development and to assist youths in his Nsirimo community channel their energies to productive endeavors.

According to him, self-development is a life-long journey that must be undertaken, adding that its successful outcome would become possible by incorporating incorporating goal-setting, emotional intelligence, mindfulness, and positive habits.

“Let’s embark on this transformative journey together, cultivating self-awareness, resilience, and fulfillment,” he encouraged the young persons.

He described youths as “the biggest assets of our locality because of the important roles (they) play in the development and economic growth of our society”, adding that they must acquire the habit of goal-setting.

“Setting SMART goals is the foundation of personal growth. By making our objectives Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound (SMART), we create a roadmap for success.

“When you set the SMART goals, you have to break down large goals into smaller, manageable tasks, and regularly review and adjust them to stay on track,” he said.

The Eze-elect, who demonstrated his skill as an inspirational speaker, took the youths through various principals of self-actualization, urging them to steer away from negative tendencies and a defined goal to achieve.

He urged the wealthy in the society to invest in building the capacity of youths to enable them give their best to humanity, noting that well trained youths as invaluable assets.

Wife of the Eze-elect, Roseline Ihuoma Amanze, who graced the capacity building event, said that it was a tip of the iceberg of the good things her husband has outlined for his community.

To add colour to the semimar, two rising young reggae music artistes, Rocky Star and CWave, showcased their talents with commendable performance.
