BCS Leader Seeks End to Racism, Ungodliness for Humanity to Overcome Socio-economic Turmoils

BCS Members Set for Simultaneous Charitable Activities in Over 25 Countries, December 26

With the prevailing racial discriminations and ungodliness across the world, humanity would continue to be plagued by political and socio-economic upheavals, the Leader of the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star(BCS) has said.

This warning was contained in the message the BCS Leader, Olumba Olumba Obu gave to Nigeria and the entire world to mark the 2023 edition of the celebration of “divine manifestation” of the Leader.

The spokesman of the BCS, Patriach Christ Shepherd Amah Williams delivered the message during a press conference in Umuahia Bethel of BCS, saying that he was mandated “by the Holy Father to pass his message of goodwill”.

He said: “As humanity continues to grapple with the challenges facing the human race such as the numerous deadly conflicts going on in all corners of the world, natural disasters and diseases, some of which have defied cure, we make bold to inform the world that the solution to all these crises lie in the teachings of Leader Olumba Olumba Obu”.

According to him, the BCS Leader has continued to demonstrate to the entire world the true meaning of Christianity by showing “unimaginable love and compassion to the human family”

“He teaches and practices nothing but love and demonstrates peace, mercy, truth, meekness, faith patience, forgiveness and godliness,” the BCS spokesman added.

Williams pointed out that Olumba Olumba Obu  has through the divine institution, BCS “broken down the barriers of racism and sealed the cleavage of religion by uniting the human family in love”.

As part of the activities for the week-long event, Williams announced that the BCS would on December 26 carry out charity works simultaneously in no fewer than 25 countries across the continents.

The charity activities to be carried out by God’s children in their countries of residence would involve giving out free food, clothes and other daily necessities to the poor and vulnerable people all over the world.

He listed the countries where the charitable activities would hold simultaneously to include Nigeria, United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, Italy, Spain, Angola, Cameroon, Gambia, South Africa, Guinea Bisau, Haiti and Israel.

Others are Kenya, Liberia, Malawi, France, Benin Republic, Tanzania, Sierra Leone, Republic of Niger, Uganda, Grenada, Trinidad and Tobago, among others.

Williams said that the act of charity is in consonance with the mission of the BCS Leader, which is “to establish God’s Kingdom and unite the human family in love”.

He explained that it was for this reason that Leader Olumba Olumba Obu established the BCS, also known as the Christ Universal Spiritual School of Practical Christianity with its world headquarters in Calabar, Cross River State.

Apart from acts of charity, the BCS spokesman stated that the 2023 edition of the weeklong celebration of the divine manifestation would also feature watching and praying, visit to orphanages and destitute homes the world over, as well as public lecture.

Williams emphasized that “man shall continue to wallow in spitual darkness unless leaders of the world embrace the divine precepts of the Brotherhood of man” as taught by the BCS Leader.

This teaching, he said entails that “all forms of discrimination shall cease to exist, and the fatherhood of God, where all men shall worship the one and only Living God” will prevail.

He lamented the decadent state of the world and humanity, saying “today’s society is full of crimes and brutality and there is no peace in the world, even nature is not at peace with man”.

The BCS spokesman further noted that “immorality is at its peak as man continues to hold on to sinful and godless nature”, adding that there won’t be any headway without embracing the Brotherhood of man and fatherhood of God.

He corrected the misconceptions that people have about the BCS, explaining that “the name Brotherhood means love, unity as well as the oneness of all God’s creation”.

“It is not a political party, secret society, cult , or anything of the world. Brotherhood of the Cross and Star is non denominational, non-sectional, and nongovernmental,” he said.
